The asteroid - teacher lineage
The lineage continues - Jacobus Kapteyn, asteroid 818 Kapteyna, was an instructor to Jan Schilt: Jan Schilt, asteroid Schilt, was an instructor to Tom Hamilton; Tom Hamilton, asteroid 4897 Tomhamilton was an instructor to Sheldon Schafer; and Sheldon Schafer, asteroid 17601 Sheldonschafer, has been an instructor to many, one of whom will surely have an asteroid named after him or her.

Kapteyn's academic genealogy can be traced back to Kepler, and includes Euler, Leibnitz, and Bernoulli. At least eight other former students of Kapteyn in addition to 2308 Schilt have asteroids named for them.
